My Family History
I have been doing genealogy on my family for the last year and I have been able to go back quite a few years so far. My ancestors were probably all from the British Empire and settled in the southern United States well before the Civil War. My husband is French-Canadian and Acadian and his ancestors came to the New World in the 1600s. They settled in Maine and generations seemed to have alternated between the US and Canada. But we are all more “American” than anything else.
